Goldmine Trips

Last week we travelled to Coromandel ,to visit the stamper battery in Buffalo Road, to find out how the gold and silver was extracted from the rock that went through the stamps. It was very noisy,even with only two of the stamps thumping up and down. You could feel the vibrations as much as hear them.
